Terms & Conditions
1. Purpose
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the Nurvii mobile application, website and related services. They establish the rights, responsibilities and obligations of users and describe the intended educational purpose of the platform.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing or using Nurvii, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Services.
3. Eligibility
Users must meet the minimum age required under applicable law or use the application under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
4. Nature of the Service
Nurvii provides AI-assisted explanations of food ingredients and product information using publicly available package information, user-submitted scans and other reliable sources. The platform is educational and informational only. You may use guest mode with limited features, or create an account with your email address and a one-time password sent to that email.
5. User Responsibilities
Users agree to use the application lawfully, provide accurate information where requested, verify product labels before making consumption decisions, avoid misuse of the platform, refrain from uploading unlawful content, and understand that AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies.
6. AI Generated Content
Responses generated by Nurvii are intended to simplify ingredient information. AI output should not be interpreted as medical advice, legal advice or professional nutritional counselling. Scientific knowledge evolves and explanations may change over time.
7. Health & Educational Use
Nurvii does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure diseases. Users with allergies, pregnancy, chronic illnesses or other health concerns should consult qualified healthcare professionals before making dietary decisions.
8. Manufacturers & Brand Owners
Nurvii respects manufacturers and brand owners. Ingredient information is derived from product packaging, publicly available information and reliable references. Nurvii does not intentionally alter ingredient declarations or misrepresent products. All trademarks, logos and product names remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Product Corrections
Manufacturers or authorised representatives may contact Nurvii to report factual inaccuracies. Upon receiving verifiable evidence, Nurvii will review and, where appropriate, update the information within a reasonable timeframe.
10. Intellectual Property
Except for third-party trademarks and content belonging to others, all software, layouts, branding, AI-generated summaries and original content created by Nurvii are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
11. Subscriptions, Payments and Ads
Premium services may be offered as auto-renewable subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play: Premium Monthly (1 month) and Premium Yearly (1 year). The price shown in the app is the localized App Store or Google Play price for your storefront. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting your Nurvii account does not automatically cancel an active store subscription.
Free users may see non-personalized advertisements served by Google AdMob during product analysis. Premium subscribers do not see these ads.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nurvii shall not be liable for losses arising from reliance solely upon information provided by the application. Users remain responsible for verifying labels, consulting professionals and exercising independent judgement.
13. Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify and hold Nurvii harmless from claims arising from misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.
14. Suspension, Termination and Account Deletion
Nurvii reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform.
You may delete your account at any time:
- Open Nurvii and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm deletion.
You may also email support@nurvii.com from the email on your account, or follow https://api.nurvii.com/account-deletion.
Account deletion removes your profile and related personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. It does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.
15. Privacy
Use of Nurvii is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used and protected.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in Dubai, UAE shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence provide otherwise.
